With more than 70 cards in the set, Trainers were treated to six new Pokémon-GX, two Prism Star cards, six Full Art Pokémon, and over 20 Dragon-type Pokémon. Based on the Japanese "Strength Expansion Pack: Dragon Storm," released on April 6, Dragon Majesty was released in the Latios and Latias Pin Collections and other exclusive promotional releases starting September 7, 2018.

Limited editions and special products
Like previous holiday sets, Dragon Majesty was not released individually, but in new promo boxes throughout the Sun & Moon cycle until the end of the year. In the Latios and Latias Pin Boxes, each Trainer received the corresponding promo card and three Dragon Majesty boosters. In October, the "Dragon Majesty: Legends of Unova GX Collection" and "Dragon Majesty: Premium Powers Collection" promo boxes followed, containing Kingdra-GX and Dragonite-GX as rainbow Hyper Rares. These boxes were a true feast for collectors, featuring a large Dragonite-GX promo, eight boosters, and a poster.
Mighty dragons, fire and water Pokémon
The boosters contained ten cards, including one standard Energy card, one reverse holo card, and one guaranteed holographic rare card. In addition to the full-art Trainer cards and Prism Star cards, all Pokémon-GX cards were released as regular and rainbow Hyper Rares. These cards brought something new to the game for everyone, completely legal in the Standard format.
Reshiram-GX was a basic Fire-type that dealt a lot of damage and used Energy efficiently. In contrast, Seedraking-GX offered Trainers better options for switching their Active Pokémon. The rest of the higher-rarity cards were thematically focused on dragons.
Celestial Storm already supported the Dragon-type with powerful GXs. Now, Dragons became even stronger. Dragonite-GX immediately returned three discarded Dragonites to the Bench with its Dragon Power GX attack. White Kyurem-GX required Fire and Water Energy to burn and paralyze the opponent's Pokémon. Salamence-GX , with the GX attack from the Japanese Champion Road Set, was also included as a Dragon-type. In the next section, we'll take a closer look at what the rarest Pokémon from Dragon Majesty have to offer.
Successful mechanics and exciting products
Dragon Majesty primarily took over from the Japanese expansions of Dark Light Terror , and the mechanics of the metagame at the time continued to receive support and specially designed cards for unique deck building. This time, there were two Prism Star cards: Siegfried ♢ for Dragon-type Pokémon and Victini ♢ for Fire-type Pokémon. Siegfried was a Trainer who could search the deck for two Dragons, but only if one of your Pokémon was defeated. Victini was less conditional and dealt damage with discarded Energy, matching the new Charizard.
Overall, the most powerful Pokémon could now be discovered in the new form of limited-edition expansions. Dragon Majesty opened up a wide and exciting range of promotional collections for collecting and expanding your Pokémon teams!
